OWNER, ROASTER

Bill has been working in coffee since 1998, when he got his first barista job at Lakeshore Coffeehouse in Euclid, OH. Eventually, he found his way to the production floor at Intelligentsia Coffee in Chicago, IL where he gained a deeper understanding of the coffee world. After meeting Amber Arthur, through his wife and BattleCat Coffee Bar, the two decided to co-found PennyCup. When Bill is not being a dad and family man he is playing ice hockey or taking a nap.

LEAD ROASTER

Jaime has been in the coffee/food & beverage industry for 17 years. Originally from Massachusetts, she came to Asheville in 2019 for the Conservation Corp. Jaime's been with PennyCup for 7 years, starting out as a barista at our Haw Creek location. From there, she discovered seh liked the social aspect of cafes more than the solitude of working in national parks. In her free time she likes to hike, craft, and listen to podcasts.
